The Aqueous Chorus is a modern take on multiple chorus sounds. Dial in the past with the tilt EQ to match the vintage bucket brigade sounds or dial it the opposite to achieve the watery Eric Johnson sounds. Modulation pedals can tend to drop volume so we built in a preamp section for gain makeup or to limit the input but either way it brings the circuit to life.
Experiment and you can find a myriad of sounds including rotating speaker sounds, crazy modulation effects and classic to vintage chorus or vibe sounds.
Design Concept:
The ever changing technologies are allowing for more and more options. It is a fine line between vintage and modern these days so we thought we would offer the option for both to be achieved. To us, all pedals should feel good to play so we have made sure not only will you enjoy the sonic craziness but it will all feel natural and true to the originals…….but…… with added controls for gain makeup and EQ (EQ works on wet signal only).
Please experiment and you will find the 80’s chorus lushness, the 70 chorus thickness and modern day twists to them all.
